ECC manages and services offset generation and issuance for the largest GHG emission reduction projects in the world.  Our mission is to minimize invalidation risk and maximize offset generation.  We have managed the generation, issuance, and sale of over 3 million offsets from mine methane capture projects alone – more than any other company in the U.S.  Although much of this work involves executing the administrative details associated with offset projects, we pride ourselves on our fieldwork, our expertise of emissions control equipment, and integrating our team into the operations of the project.  The scope of our engagements vary from embedded tactical roles to strategic planning and oversight.

We work for offset project operators and offsets buyers.  Operators engage ECC to assist with the technical and nuanced details of regulatory compliance as early as project design through commissioning and operations.  Our services include continuous project monitoring, processing and archiving operating parameters, and managing all aspects of verifications leading up to and following a reporting period. 

Offset buyers hire ECC to advise projects on their behalf.  Market and technical expertise enables detailed assessments of risks inherent to specific projects before buyers enter offset purchase agreements.  ECC's long-term relationships with projects enable ongoing and real-time assessment of invalidation risks as offsets are generated – well before an offtaker receives the offset.  Our deep understanding of individual projects enables ECC to offer low-risk recommendations for increasing offset generation, which benefits both the project and the offtaker.
